ZF Group, a German Tier 1 supplier, has opened a new production plant in Coimbatore to produce the Ergopower M transmission and axle series.
The new facility, which spans 12,000 square meters, will serve both the domestic and foreign markets. Together with the major hub in Germany, the new factory in Coimbatore will support the production capacity required for future market growth in the worldwide construction equipment market.
According to the organization, the construction industry in India is increasingly in need of intelligent system solutions, sustainable technology, and rapid development cycles to meet client expectations.
ZF Group, a major producer of hydraulic and electrohydraulic braking systems, provides safe and efficient brake technology to customers in the heavy duty, off-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture industries.
