ZELIO Ebikes has officially entered the growing e-rickshaw category with the showcase of Tanga by ZELIO. The Haryana-based EV manufacturer, which has seen rapid success in the electric two-wheeler space since its founding in 2021, revealed its first two e-rickshaw models at the prestigious EV India Expo 2024 in New Delhi.
The EV India Expo, an international electric motor vehicle show provided an ideal platform for ZELIOto showcase its latest offerings. The event brings together electric vehicle manufacturers to display the latest innovations in electric passenger cars, scooters, motorcycles, buses, and more.
Upon entering the e-rickshaw market, Mr. Kunal Arya, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ZELIO Ebikes, stated, “We have been receiving numerous inquiries about expanding into shared mobility solutions like e-rickshaws. Alongside the showcase of Tanga, ZELIO captivated the audience with its full range of low-speed electric two-wheelers, including the popular GRACY series, Eeva series, and X-Men series. The spotlight was on ZELIO latest models, the upgraded X-Men 2.0 and the high-speed Mystery electric scooter. Both drew considerable attention for their cutting-edge design and impressive performance, reinforcing ZELIO’s position as a leader in the electric mobility space.
