Delivery of VinFast Auto’s VF 5 electric SUV has formally begun during Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week 2024. The VF e34 was successfully introduced earlier this year, and this is VinFast’s second electric car launch in Indonesia.
VinFast has delivered two EV models in just nine months since joining the Indonesian market, demonstrating its dedication to promoting environmentally friendly transportation in Indonesia and throughout Southeast Asia.
Eco-Friendly and Compact Urban Transportation
The A-segment electric vehicle VF 5 has a sturdy yet small design that is ideal for city settings. With its cutting-edge safety features and environmentally beneficial substitute for gasoline-powered vehicles, it appeals to urban consumers in Jakarta who are increasingly choosing sustainable mobility options.
Adjustable Costs and Possession Choices
In Indonesia, VinFast sells the VF 5 for 286,450,000 IDR (with battery purchase) or 218,250,000 IDR (including battery subscription). Customers who want more flexibility can choose a battery subscription plan, which starts at just 990,000 IDR per month.
In addition, the business offers buyers interest-free installment options, no administrative costs, and a one-year service charge waiver. VinFast promises high resale prices to facilitate the switch to electric vehicles, keeping up to 90% of the initial value after six months of use and 70% after three years.
Leading Warranty and After-Sales Assistance in the Market
The VF 5 sets the standard for after-sales servicing with a seven-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for the car and an eight-year unlimited mileage warranty for the battery.
The introduction of the VF 5 solidifies VinFast’s leadership in Indonesia’s EV market, supporting the nation’s drive for environmentally friendly transportation and advancing its goal of ensuring that everyone has access to electric mobility.
