With the shipment of the first batch of its Made-in-India F77 MACH 2 electric motorcycles for export to the European Union (EU) market, Ultraviolette Automotive achieved a noteworthy milestone. At the Ultraviolette production facility in Bengaluru, the occasion was headed by Union Minister of Heavy Industries, H.D. Kumaraswamy, and Minister of Industries and Commerce for Karnataka, Shri M.B. Patil.
The arrival of Ultraviolette into the European market, according to Union Minister Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, is a significant development for the Indian automobile sector and demonstrates the nation’s ability to compete internationally. He pointed out that this program is in line with the government’s goal of making India a major player in the global electric vehicle (EV) market.
Karnataka’s Minister of Industries and Commerce, M.B. Patil, emphasized Bengaluru’s contribution to the growth of the country’s electric car sector. He said that Ultraviolette is a significant part of the state’s innovation ecosystem and that this export is a significant step in the direction of Karnataka’s sustainable development and technical improvement.
Ultraviolette’s co-founder and CEO, Narayan Subramaniam, offered his opinions on the company’s move into the European market. According to him, shipping the F77 MACH 2 outside is a first step in bringing Indian-developed electric car technology to global consumers.
