CII-ITC assessors thoroughly evaluated TKM’s CSR efforts as part of the award evaluation process, with an emphasis on factors like learning and innovation that were integrated into all CSR programmes. TKM’s efforts demonstrated a solid fit with these requirements, demonstrating their commitment to worthwhile social projects.
Moreover, TKM’s CSR implementation is characterised by periodic internal assessments overseen by a board-level CSR committee, ensuring transparency, credibility, and adherence to regulatory standards. The company has consistently employed diverse assessment tools and systems to gauge performance and drive community enhancement and environmental conservation through sustained efforts.
TKM’s CSR strategy revolves around two primary pillars: “Empowering Communities” and “Enriching Environment”. Rooted in innovation and guided by the principle of Kaizen (continuous improvement), TKM’s CSR projects span across six key areas: Skill Development, Road Safety, Education, Environment, Health & Hygiene, and Disaster Management.
