Texa TXT Bharat, the company’s newest diagnostic tool, has been released for the Indian market.
The multi-brand car diagnostic tool and its software interface, IDC5 Bharat, will serve the Indian commercial vehicle market and retail for about Rs 195,000 in the aftermarket. The device is being launched in collaboration with Madhus Garage Equipment, a top retailer of car maintenance products in India, with its headquarters located in Bengaluru.
Using extensive research and development as well as the company’s wealth of knowledge and experience from more than three decades of providing services to the automotive sector, Texa claims that the TXT Bharat was created. Mechanics will be able to work on a variety of commercial cars that meet the current BS-III, BS-IV, and BS-VI emission requirements on Indian highways thanks to the integrated solution of TXT Bharat and IDC5 Bharat.
The next-generation vehicle interface was created especially for trucks, buses, light commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles. It is full of useful and distinctive technical features.
According to the manufacturer, its CPU ensures accurate data processing from the vehicle’s control units and makes it faster and more powerful. In addition to the most recent Bluetooth technology and a USB-C port for a quicker connection and improved data download, the diagnostic tool also has new RGB LEDs that improve its usability.
The integrated 16-pin CPC connector on the TXT Bharat hardware enables rapid connection to the 16-pin OBD socket and the use of any diagnostic cable designed for an off-highway application. This allows the vehicle to be compliant with all existing protocols. Additionally, it records the diagnostic session while driving and enables diagnostics on vehicles at 12V or 24V.
The IDC5 Bharat, which is the brain of TXT Bharat hardware, is software that guides the repair technician through all phases of work, from error detection to resolution, in a practical, and safe manner. The company says the software is updated monthly to continuously improve its diagnostic coverage with new technical information and electrical diagrams of brands and models to help repair professionals resolve typical issues of their daily activities.
The software interface also provides a range of exclusive functions and technical documentation that go beyond the traditional concept of diagnosis, including dashboards, interactive electrical diagrams, guided diagnosis, technical bulletins, mechanical data, and error help.
According to David Meneghetti, Product Manager, Texa, “A long period of study and field testing in India have allowed us to propose a solution that perfectly suits the needs of mechanics, local fleets, and the growing multi-brand culture. Being able to repair vehicles with the latest generation technologies is the emerging trend, and we are confident in providing concrete answers with a product tailored to this need.”
“Madhus is excited to enter this new vertical, especially with our long-term partner, Texa, which has invested a lot of time, effort and money to develop this product. They have not just taken an existing product to sell in India, but have adopted a clean sheet approach to ensure that their tool works well with the Indian vehicles. They have also ensured that the pricing of the tool is in line with Indian expectations,” added Nikhil B, Deputy Managing Director, Madhus Garage Equipment.
