Terra Motors Corporation has made its debut in the electric vehicle charging infrastructure sector in India.
The company introduced Terra Charge, its venture for developing EV charging infrastructure, with plans to deploy 800 to 1,000 charging points by the end of March next year, targeting an annual revenue of USD 668,000.
The initial charging stations have been installed in Haryana, and expansion into West Bengal and Maharashtra is on the horizon.
Terra Charge offers a range of chargers tailored for fleets, commercial properties, residential communities, and personal parking spaces.
Terra Motors CEO Akhiro Ueda emphasized the company’s commitment to addressing the growing demand for EVs in India and resolving infrastructure challenges.
Terra Charge’s chargers include a 3.3 kW AC charger, a 7.2 kW AC charger, and an 82 kW DC fast charger, incorporating Japanese technology known for reliability and precision. The company also provides insurance coverage for added peace of mind.
