Tata Power, one of India’s major integrated power providers and a prominent developer of electric vehicle charging solutions, has revealed that it has installed more than 100,000 residential EV chargers nationwide. These chargers are located in distant areas of the nation and enable e-mobility adoption by providing consumers with a smooth and dependable charging experience in the comfort of their own homes.
Tata Power, which has been leading the country’s transition to e-mobility, has achieved the milestone of deploying over 1,100 EV bus charging points in important metropolitan centres, contributing to the construction of a sustainable public transport charging network.
The company currently has a network of over 5,600 RFID-enabled 5,570 public and captive charge points, strategically located across malls, hotels, hospitals, offices, residential societies and highways, which are centrally monitored by an advanced Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Mumbai.
