In the Graphic Era era, engineering students will now receive training in electric vehicles. For this purpose, an MOU has been signed between Graphic Era Hill University and MG Motors. This MOU was signed at MG Motors’ plant in Halol, Gujarat.
On this occasion, Colonel Anil Kumar Nayar, Director of Graphic Era Hill University’s Bhimtal campus, said that there is increasing demand for core engineering in the industry world. By connecting with companies, students will gain good industry experience, and training in new technologies will increase placement opportunities.
Samir Jindal, Director of Value Addition and Value Engineering at MG Motors, said that there are significant changes in electric vehicle technologies. Due to this, there is a greater need for trained professionals in the automotive sector. Along with studies, training will prepare students for the industry world even before obtaining a degree.
H.R. Yashvinder Patial, Senior Director of MG Motors, said that this course will increase employment opportunities for students of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer science engineering.
Under the MOU, students pursuing B.Tech and M.Tech in Graphic Era will be able to take certificate and diploma courses on connected, autonomous, electric vehicles. Students will be given basic and advanced level certificates, and they will receive training from MG Motors’ specialists.
On the occasion of the MOU, Colonel Anil Kumar Nayar, Director of Bhimtal campus of Graphic Era, and H.R. Yashvinder Patial, Senior Director of MG Motors, signed. Dr. Sudhir Joshi, CEO of the Aerospace Engineering Department of Deemed University, Shalini Johri, Head of Talent Management and H.R., and Deputy Manager H.R. Saloni Mistri were present from Graphic Era University and MG Motors, respectively.
