Q1. Stella Moto’s parent company ‘Jaidka group’ has already been an instrumental player in the EV L3 passenger and cargo three-wheelers, how Stella Moto aims to further be dominant in the Indian EV sector.
The “Jaidka group” has been a significant player in the Automobile business for the past 80 years. We started Stella Moto because we wanted to do our bit to save the planet. With world leaders focusing more on green technologies, we realised there is a need & growing popularity for electric vehicles. So, we combined our expertise in automobile manufacturing with green technology to come up with electric two and three-wheelers for B2B and B2C segments.
We designed our products to suit our customers’ requirements. While most manufacturers ignore the mechanical engineering aspect of manufacturing vehicles, we focus on both the electrical as well as mechanical engineering of our vehicles. This way we are able to deliver the best and the most unique vehicles to Indian customers.
Q2. What is the current manufacturing capacity of the company and are there any plans to further foster the production plant strength?
Stella Moto is currently producing 20,000 units annually to meet the needs of its customers. We are upgrading our plant for future production as we have recently begun focusing on scaling up our operations within Tier-1 cities in the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh while aggressively expanding our presence in micro Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.

All our products will soon be 100% localized and by the end of the first quarter of the year 2024 we will expand our network to 100-150 dealers.
Q5. Key targets of the company in 2023 and how is the company eyeing its presence through retail outlets.

This diverse range of vehicles will allow us to capture a large market segment throughout India. In addition, we are focusing on the B2B retail market and expect to make a significant impact in the B2B EV two-wheeler Indian market.
