Promoting e-mobility in the country, Statiq has revealed its plans to install 20,000 charging stations in India during FY23.
Statiq claims that the company has more than 7,000 charging stations in the country, including captive and semi-public ones.
Statiq reports that over 1,000 charging stations have fast-charging technology. They are strategically located at strategic locations like highways, airports, malls, and residential and commercial complexes as well as hotels and office buildings.
“We have over 7,000 electric vehicle charging stations installed in 60 Indian cities. We remain committed to playing an important role in helping consumers think of sustainable mobility soon,” stated Akshit Bansal (Co-Founder and CEO of Statiq) at the Auto Expo 2023.
According to the company, their EV charging initiatives align with REIL, Indian Oil Corporation, GMR, and other companies. This group aims to create EV charging infrastructure by using the most up-to-date technology platform and providing easy access to charging points.
Statiq’s EV charging network has expanded beyond Delhi-NCR to include Mumbai, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Udaipur, and Bengaluru.
