EV charging network provider Statiq has decided to add over 200 new employees in FY 22-23.
The new hires may also be operating out of offices based at Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad offices other than the companies headquarter at Gurgaon, with an aim to strengthen the operations.
In the official statement, Statiq noted that with this it aims to bring about a mix of full-time, contractual, and consultant employees into its fold and expand its 100-employee count three times over, in keeping with its growth.
Commenting on the move, Co-Founder and CTO of Statiq, Raghav Arora said, “At Statiq, we are thrilled to launch this hiring spree. I have always maintained that people make businesses and a company’s performance depends largely on the fit between people and their jobs. That’s why we brought Needhi on board as well to scale up operations in the right manner. In the same vein, it’s great if candidates have experience on the EV side but we are primarily looking for individuals with the zeal to create an impact through innovation, the passion to provide excellent service to our customers, and happy to collaborate toward a collective goal, namely ‘Sustainable Transportation. Teamwork has always been a part of our DNA and we do not want to compromise in that area.”
With this, the company aims to hire majorly for IT vertical – Software Developers and QA lead, frontend lead, and design lead roles in the frontend; in the non-IT vertical – brand & sales lead, business development manager, business analyst, finance controller, lead PR and operation executives.
CHRO of Statiq, Needhi Lazara noted, “I am excited to be the co-architect of Statiq’s future by consolidating its workforce in this manner. Statiq is passionately committed to its cause of providing an innovative and sustainable EV charging network and has a young, energetic management team that leads this dynamic growth. Hence, we are looking to source our tech hires not just from the tier 1 campuses but also from ITIs and polytechnic institutes. We are open to hiring from any age group and field, as long as they fit our company culture and requirement. Our aim is to add more than 200 new employees to the company in this fiscal which will boost our count approximately three times over.”
This announcement comes at a pivotal moment in Statiq’s journey as the group aims to accelerate its growth into a sustainable and collaborative ecosystem.
The company also announced a collaboration with EV maker Ather, to enhance the combined EV charging network in the northern states, with a special emphasis on the NCR region.
This appointment is the next step on Statiq’s part to consolidate its processes.
