Skoda Auto Volkswagen India has announced its participation at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, which is scheduled to take place from February 1-3, 2024.
The brand promises to feature a range of cutting-edge ICE and EV vehicles, as well as cars and SUVs from all of its sub-brands, including VW & Skoda, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini. We can confirm that Skoda’s Enyaq iV all-electric crossover will be on exhibit during the event at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Skoda Enyaq iV for India
The all-electric Enyaq iV, which debuted in production in September 2020, has also been spotted testing in India. Skoda is set to unveil prices for the electric crossover in March of this year, signalling the Czech brand’s debut into the Indian EV market. We’ll most likely get the range-topping Enyaq iV 80x, which has a 77kWh battery and two motors (one on each axle, emulating AWD) producing 265hp. The battery pack is reported to enable 125kW DC fast charging and can go 513 km (WLTP) on a single charge.
The Enyaq iV is based on the VW Group’s born-electric MEB platform, which also underpins the Volkswagen ID 4 and Audi Q4 e-tron. The Skoda measures 4,648mm long and 1,877mm wide – it’s only slightly smaller than the Skoda Kodiaq, but it is strictly a two-row SUV.
Lamborghini Revuelto at Bharat Mobility Expo 2024
Launched at the end of last year at a mouth-watering Rs 8.89 crore (ex-showroom, before options), the Lamborghini Revuelto will also be displayed at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India pavilion. The 1,015hp V12 hybrid supercar is already sold out until 2026, and fresh orders are unlikely to be taken by the Italian marque. The plug-in hybrid system, which adds three electric motors – two at the front and one above the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox – helps the 825hp, 6.5-litre V12 engine, together propelling the Revuelto to 100kph in 2.5 seconds, and going on to a top speed of 325kph.
