The RV400 and RV400 BRZ, Revolt Motors’ flagship models, have been launched in Sri Lanka. The occasion, hosted at Water’s Edge, was a step in the direction of encouraging environmentally friendly modes of transportation across the nation.
With intentions to grow operations across 11 more locations, including Kurunegala, Madurankuliya, Matara, Embilipitiya, Elpitiya, Batticaloa, Kirindiwela, Horana, Kelaniya, and Tangalle, the first dealership has been built on Maradana Road in Colombo.
Bob Kundanmal, Chairman of Evolution Auto, Revolt Motors’ sole distributor in Sri Lanka, and Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Pvt Ltd, attended the launch. Both emphasized how electric mobility propels creative and environmentally friendly transportation options.
With a top speed of 85 km/h and a range of up to 160 kilometers on a single charge, the RV400 is made to appeal to Sri Lankan motorcyclists. It has a mobile app interface, AI-enabled connectivity, and three customizable riding modes: Eco, City, and Sport. These characteristics try to strike a balance between affordability, technology, and performance.
Since the RV400 has an IP67-rated battery, it can withstand a variety of weather situations. In addition, it has a combination braking system, adjustable suspension, dual disc brakes, and sophisticated AI-enabled features. These can be accessed through a mobile app and include call alerts, geo-fencing, reverse mode, keyless ignition, navigation support, real-time notifications, and remote start.
Live performances and feature demonstrations of the RV400 were part of the launch event. It emphasized the motorcycle’s emphasis on fusing technology with useful functionality for long-distance and urban commuting. To find out more about the features and advantages of these electric versions, Sri Lankan motorcyclists can now test them out at authorized dealerships.
