The Indian two-wheeler maker PURE EV and Jio Things Limited, a division of Jio Platforms Limited, have inked a Memorandum of Understanding. The cooperation focusses on incorporating telematics and smart digital clusters into PURE EV’s electric cars.
Through digital integration and Internet of Things solutions, the partnership seeks to enhance the user experience. To improve functionality, PURE EV will integrate JioThings’ intelligent digital clusters with Internet of Things capabilities into their electric two-wheelers.
Through the partnership, 4G connectivity-based telematics will be made possible, giving riders real-time access to vehicle performance parameters. It is anticipated that this technology will give riders useful information to enhance their riding experience.
Data analytics, interface customisation, and touchscreen display compatibility are just a few of the capabilities available in JioThings’ 4G Smart Digital Cluster, which is powered by AvniOS (based on the Android Open Source Project). For manufacturers, the technology is intended to simplify IoT integration.
The Jio Automotive App Suite (JAAS) will also be put into use, giving users access to a number of apps such as JioStore, web surfing, audio streaming, voice assistance, navigation, and gaming possibilities.
Nishanth Dongari, founder and Managing Director of PURE EV, stated, “Exploring JioThings’ IoT capabilities within our vehicles represents an opportunity to enhance PURE EV’s products. We aim to improve electric mobility by enhancing the efficiency and interactivity of our vehicles.”
Ashish Lodha, President of Jio Platforms Limited, commented on the partnership, “We are collaborating with PURE EV, a company that shares our vision of innovation in the electric mobility space. By integrating our IoT solutions, we aim to support PURE EV in delivering an electric two-wheeler experience to customers.”
