PURE EV has announced a joint venture with Pragmatic Design Solutions Ltd (PDSL), UK.
With a shared vision to transform electric mobility and affordability of transport, PURE EV and PDSL (UK) are collaborating to cater to the evolving needs of consumers internationally. PDSL has been delivering leading-edge engineering and digital technology solutions since 2010, for clientele like OEMs Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Volkswagen, Bentley, Lotus, McLaren, Rivian, VInFast, Polestar, Volta Trucks, Panasonic and LG.
PURE EV and PDSL have a roadmap to develop a high-performance electric 2-wheeler on a solid-state battery technology platform, targeting both international and Indian markets. The revolutionary 2-wheeler will seamlessly integrate advanced technology with sustainable design principles, with a mileage of 250 KM, top speed of 100+ KMPH, and an AI-based power-train platform offering user-friendly troubleshooting and a fast on-board charger.
The joint venture, which is set to attract £30 – 40 million investment, will be set up at the Coventry University Technology Park, UK. Coventry and the wider West Midlands region is known as a world-leading automotive hub including for electric vehicle (EV) technology.
This strategic alliance brings together PURE EV’s expertise in battery and electric vehicle design with PDSL’s distinguished engineering services by onboarding the global supply chain to the distribution network. The product will be equipped with new-age battery technology, a dynamic powertrain and advanced software features. The development of the product has begun, and the launch will be planned for early 2025.
