Mumbai-based EV manufacturer, PMV Electric has released Eas-E, electric microcar in the Indian market.
It is priced at Rs. 4.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Eas-E is a 2-seat quadricycle featuring a tallboy design.
It has circular headlamps and an LED light bar at the front, and an almost vertical rear fascia with slim LED tail lights.
The electric microcar has a dual-tone interior and a basic dashboard with the steering wheel in the centre. The car also comes with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system.
Other features include feet-free driving, Remote Parking Assist, Cruise Control, Remote connectivity and diagnostics, Bluetooth and navigation.
This electric microcar uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor mounted on the front axle. It produces 13 BHP and 50 Nm and enables the car to accelerate from 0-40 km/h in under 5 seconds. Its claimed top speed is 70 km/h.
The Eas-E is powered by a 47V lithium-iron-phosphate battery, which can be charged using a 15A socket in 3-4 hours. The car is available in three range options – 120 km, 160 km and 200 km.
PMV is accepting pre-orders at a nominal price of Rs. 2,000.
The company claims to have received over 6000 bookings from India and international markets.
