The electric Peugeot Kisbee scooter has been sighted in India previously, and this is not the first time this model has been seen there. The latter is already available for purchase elsewhere.
The hub-mounted electric motor of this electric Kisbee is still unknown in terms of specifications. However, its performance should be comparable to that of the ICE Kisbee, which produces 3.53 horsepower and reaches a top speed of 45 kmph. The underseat storage space will be consumed by the battery, which is installed beneath the seat.
The electric scooter has telescopic fork and twin shocks, suspending 12-inch wheels. Braking is handled by a disc brake at the front and drum at the back, which will be most likely 130mm and 110mm, respectively, like the ICE Kisbee. It will also have single-channel ABS.
The electric scooter in the photos has proper European styling, slightly tweaked from the ICE Kisbee. It has sharp lines on the side panels, a chunky-looking handlebar cowl, and a huge seat.
There’s a Peugeot logo in the monochrome instrument cluster, which most likely won’t have any smartphone connectivity. Under the display is a tell-tale indicator bar. The seat is the same as the ICE Kisbee with a slight contour that makes it spacious for the rider, while leaving little room for the pillion. The e-Kisbee will sport LED lights, as compared to halogen ones on the current ICE variant.
The Peugeot e-Kisbee is expected to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2024. Mahindra & Mahindra co-owns Peugeot Motocycles and this e-scooter is most likely manufactured at Mahindra’s EV two-wheeler plant outside of Pune. That said, it’s highly unlikely that this e-scoot will be launched in India anytime soon.
