JBM Electric Vehicles has introduced India’s first Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) to enhance access to healthcare in rural and semi-rural areas. The facility, which was entirely conceived, planned, and developed in India, is in line with PM Jan Aarogya Yojna (PM-JAY), the Hon. Prime Minister’s flagship health project that aims to improve healthcare services in underserved areas.
As part of the National Health Mission (NHM), Mobile Medical Units seek to provide healthcare services to vulnerable, underprivileged, and rural populations. These mobile hospitals serve as “Hospitals on Wheels,” visiting patients right at their homes.
Key dignitaries, such as Dr. S.K. Sarin, Director of the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences; Shri J.P. Nadda, Minister of Health & Family Welfare; and Shri Manohar Lal, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, were shown the Medical Mobile Unit by JBM Electric Vehicles, a company that specializes in e-mobility solutions. JBM Group Chairman Shri S.K. Arya and Vice Chairman Shri Nishant Arya were also in attendance.
The MMU is a fully furnished mobile medical center that is intended to provide primary care, diagnostics, and emergency support, among other vital medical services, to isolated locations.
The MMU has personnel, medications, cutting-edge medical equipment, teleconsultation capabilities, and the required logistics to provide full healthcare delivery. A defibrillator, fibroscan, biochemistry analyzer, centrifuge, blood transport box, and ECG machine are among the vital medical equipment it has.
With the goal of promoting expansion by ethical corporate conduct, JBM Group is still a major force in determining India’s industrial environment and sustainable future.
