As part of its aggressive plans to expand its nationwide service network, Ola Electric opened its 500th service facility in Kochi, Kerala. The company’s largest service centre in the state of Kerala is the recently opened facility.
An Ola spokesperson said, “At Ola, enhancing customer satisfaction and ownership experience is our utmost priority. A key aspect to ensuring that is having a robust service network across India that allows us to cater to all service-related requests of our customers in the shortest time possible. Our 500th service centre in Kochi is a testament to our service promise to our customers, and we will continue to strengthen our after-sales & service network across India.”
Along with organising a ride for its member community in Kochi, the firm also celebrated the opening of the 500th service facility. In addition, the business plans to provide free health checks for scooters nationally in all of India’s main cities and villages.
Ola Electric has announced new pricing for its S1 X portfolio and signified its entry into the mass-market category. The current pricing of the scooter, which comes with three different battery options (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh), is Rs 69,999 (the initial price), Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999. Next week, the deliveries will begin. Additionally, the S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ pricing were updated by the business to be Rs 1,29,999, Rs 1,04,999, and Rs 84,999, respectively.
Ola Electric also offers an 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty for the entire range of products at no extra cost, a move Ola Electric believes addresses one of the barriers to EV adoption by extending the lifespan of the vehicles. Customers can also opt for an add-on warranty and increase the upper limit of the kilometres travelled up to 1,00,000 km at Rs 4,999 and up to 1,25,000 km at Rs 12,999. Ola Electric has also introduced a portable fast charger accessory of 3KW which is available for purchase at Rs 29,999.
