Zypp Electric has invested in Odysse Electric to help in its growth throughout India. Zypp Electric has ordered 40,000 electric cars as part of this partnership, and they will be delivered over the course of the following three years.
It is anticipated that the investment will increase Odysse Electric’s nationwide dealership network and strengthen its position in the B2B market. The company wants to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly mobility solutions in both the personal and last-mile delivery segments in both urban and rural locations by expanding production capacity and enhancing distribution capabilities.
Zypp Electric’s CEO and co-founder, Akash Gupta, emphasized the company’s intentions to decarbonize last-mile delivery by deploying 200,000 EVs over the course of the next two to three years. He pointed out that as Odysse Electric exhibits a dedication to quality and the capacity to satisfy specific needs, the investment is consistent with Zypp Electric’s values.
Odysse Electric was established in 2020 and provides a variety of electric vehicles, such as motorbikes and scooters, for both individual and business-to-business use. It has seven models in its inventory.
An AIS-156-approved battery, five drive modes, an 18-liter storage capacity, a 7-inch touchscreen Android display, and a sturdy construction are all features of the Vader electric motorcycle.
