The Nissan Formula E Team and Petromin Corporation, a well-known Middle Eastern supplier of mobility solutions, have established a four-year global cooperation. Since both businesses want to hasten the adoption of electric mobility throughout the region, the partnership will mainly concentrate on Petromin’s EV charging subsidiary, Electromin.
The collaboration strengthens the already strong bond between Nissan and Petromin, particularly via Petromin Nissan, which was a prior innovation partner for the Diriyah races. In accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, Nissan, Petromin, Electromin, and Petromin Nissan will collaborate to advance the switch to electric vehicles (EVs).
“I’m delighted to announce the partnership between Nissan Formula E Team, Petromin, and Electromin,” said Tommaso Volpe, Managing Director and Team Principal of the Nissan Formula E Team. “It demonstrates how crucial it is for Nissan to include its Formula E project into the larger strategy plan in order to take use of current group relationships as well as promote our Ambition 2030 electrification plan.”
He emphasized that Petromin Corporation, the parent business of Electromin, is a crucial Nissan partner in Saudi Arabia and emphasized the significance of fostering synergies that advance the Nissan brand on a regional and international level. It is anticipated that the collaboration will have a major impact on Nissan’s GEN4 Formula E program development.
In keeping with this strategic partnership, Nissan’s cutting-edge e-4ORCE 05 race cars, driven by Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato, will sport Electromin’s branding conspicuously. Additionally, the branding will be seen on team uniforms, driver suits, and other marketing materials, increasing Electromin’s exposure internationally.
