Neuron Energy has secured Type Approval Certificate (AIS-156 Amendment III) Phase 2 approval for its L3 and L5 category battery packs.
Neuron has received this certificate for 4 battery pack models – 51.2V 100AH, 51.2V 200AH, 60.8V 100AH, and 60.8V 200AH.
The attainment of this prestigious certification opens doors to expansion and growth opportunities within the Indian EV market for Neuron Energy.
The successful acquisition of Type Approval Certificate (AIS-156 Amendment III) Phase 2 for their L3 and L5 category battery packs proves Neuron’s commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable and compliant energy solutions for the EV industry.
The promising lithium-ion EV smart battery manufacturer, which has been expanding quickly since its founding in 2018, aims to increase its certifications from the current four models to twenty models, which include battery packs for EV two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
It also wants to strengthen its workforce by expanding the R&D team. Furthermore, the company is also gearing up for the development of Li-Ion smart batteries for EV 2W’s and 3W’s while aiding in the brand’s venture into batteries for drone applications.
The company has also recently achieved a significant milestone by securing INR 200 million in their Pre-Series A Round.
This funding was led by Equanimity Investments and the Rajiv Dadlani Group and witnessed active participation from the Chona Family Office (Havmor Group), Kayenne Ventures, as well as other esteemed Family Offices and HNI investors.
