mXmoto has released a teaser of its maiden high-speed electric motorcycle, the MX9, ahead of its launch.
Despite the Ministry of Heavy Industries announcing a reduction to the FAME-II subsidies for two-wheelers recently, the EV revolution seems far from slowing down.
More players foraying into two-wheeler EV manufacturing is a testament to the segment’s growth.
The MX9 e-bike is designed by a renowned motorcycle designer from Europe, Marcello Silva.
As per the company, it has a manufacturing facility in Gurugram with an annual capacity to roll out about 4,000 electric vehicles and the production has already commenced. mXmoto said it is planning to introduce electric scooters soon.
The company said that the MX9 had materialized, keeping both safety and performance in mind. While the startup has kept the details under wraps, it has revealed that it will feature 17-inch large wheels, a 60 AMP controller, and regenerative braking.
With a 16% increase in output power, it stimulates the driving system to achieve higher levels of performance.
mXmoto electric vehicles are equipped with LifePO4 Battery Technology.
Furthermore, the manufacturer confirmed that it aims to make its motorcycle available across the country and will deploy a dealer network and its exclusive showrooms catering to the demand.
