With immediate effect, MG has changed the Windsor EV’s pricing. The British brand’s most recent electric product is now Rs. 50,000 more expensive, a change that affects the model’s whole variant matrix.
There are three different models of the MG Windsor EV: Essence, Exclusive, and Excite. Additionally, there are four color options: Turquoise Green, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Starburst Black.
Considering the price increase, depending on the configuration you choose, the Windsor EV can cost anywhere between Rs. 14 lakh and Rs. 16 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). A 38kWh battery pack and a single electric motor power the car, which can reportedly go 331 kilometers on a single full charge. The power output has a 200Nm torque and 134Bhp rating, making it a practical choice for urban commuting as well as short road trips. The Windsor EV also comes with advanced safety features, including airbags, ABS, and a robust structural design.
The company’s Battery as a Service (BaaS) plans are another way to buy the Windsor EV, offering flexibility and cost-effective options for customers who prefer leasing their battery rather than purchasing it outright. These plans cater to customers looking to reduce the upfront cost of the vehicle while ensuring access to the latest battery technology and performance.
