Kinetic Green has decided to give the E Luna a practical spin that could gate-crash the scooter segment. The new electric two-wheeler will be the seventh variant of the E Luna after E Luna X2, E Luna X3, E Luna X3 GO, E LunaX3 Plus, E Luna X3 Pro and E Luna X3 Prime. The E Luna range starts from Rs 69,990 to Rs 82,490, ex-showroom. The new trim’s USP is that it will offer additional storage space.
The new Kinetic E Luna has a storage box integrated into the floorboard, as illustrated in the patent drawing. Similar to a scooter, the box appears to have ample room to carry small things, but insufficient room to carry a half-faced helmet.
Kinetic’s new alloy wheels have upgraded the appearance and quality factor of the E Luna.
The E Luna is likely to have the same 2200 W motor and 2.3kWh battery, which, according to the company, delivers a single charge of 115 miles. Top speed is 50 kmph and the charging time is around 4 hours. The E Luna is also fitted with a rear double tube shocker, 16-inch wheels, and front telescopic forks. Kinetic will market the five colors of the E Luna as Mulberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green, and Night Star Black.
