Jozef Kaban has been appointed Vice President, Global Design Centre by MG Motor India. According to the press statement, Kaban will be in charge of the “forward-looking creativity and design of the full MG Products.”
Renowned vehicle designer Kaban is best known for creating the Bugatti Veyron supercar.
He was the lead external designer at Audi before, and he was also the design director of several high-end automakers, including Volkswagen, Skoda, BMW, and Rolls-Royce.
Kaban has skill and reputation for creating beautiful, high-performance automobiles are expected to influence MG’s upcoming car designs.
The Slovakian automobile designer started his career as an external design assistant at Volkswagen before moving to Audi in 2003. He joined Audi in 2007 as Chief of Exterior Design.
Kaban, who joins the company in honour of its centenary and the upcoming release of the Cyberster EV roadster in 2024, will be in charge of creating MG’s worldwide design language.
Additionally, the company debuted the EXE181, a concept car that draws influence from the 1957 EXE181, which broke the land speed record, at the Beijing Motor Show.
