We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sr. Key Account Manager (KAM). The person should be a self-starter, result-oriented individual responsible for key account management, revenue expansion via cross selling & up selling & maintaining gross margins with world’s largest OEM’s.
You would manage and build direct relationships with CXOs and Managers of automotive OEMs and Battery Pack Manufacturers and help them in their transition to electric mobility.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of Jr. Key Account Managers to manage all SOP customers (APAC region).
- Manage strategic key accounts by collaborating with internal & external stakeholders and cross-functional teams (VPs, Quality, Procurement, Finance, R&D, SCM, etc.) for the smooth functioning of the SOP customers.
- Establish a sustained sales pipeline, ensure profitability by maintaining minimum gross margins and achieve business targets via timely execution of purchase orders for sustainable and consistent growth.
- Key KPI’s: Revenue, sales growth, gross margin, upselling
- Work collaboratively with Supply Chain and Operations teams to provide accurate sales data and forecasts in a timely manner for demand planning and delivery.
- Be the ‘customer voice’ in the organization
- Provide timely and accurate forecast data and volumes from customers
- Create and implement a customer engagement plan – including but not limited to driving steering committee meetings with customer
- Develop and sustain connections from working to CXO levels
- Act as a lead for all commercial negotiations and recoveries for key accounts with Heads/VP’s/CXO’s.
- Manage and overlook regular RM and Forex amendments, ECN impact recovery, and obsolescence recovery with zero impact.
- Prepare high-quality MIS reports for the leadership, including business loss analysis, TGR/TGW, budgets, forecasts, and other key information for strategic planning.
- Work alongside Customer Support and Customer Success teams to ensure after-sales service for all series production businesses including recording, tracking, and verifying potential customer claims.
- Manage QMS for Sales/Biz Dev function as per ISO & IATF requirements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in automotive B2B sales (Automotive Tier-1/2 is preferred)
- Location – Mumbai / Bangalore
- Is interested in working in the Indian Automotive Industry / Electric Vehicle Industry..
- Good presentation and communication skills, with a good grasp of English/Hindi.
- Ability to manage business accounts using the right CRM, SAP, and relevant tools.
- Self-starter, number, and details oriented with an analytical mindset and approach towards problem-solving.
