Hyundai’s triple launch at the 101st Brussels Motor Show surprised the automobile industry. The business unveiled the ground-breaking hydrogen fuel cell idea INITIUM, the all-electric INSTER, and its crossover version INSTER Cross. Hyundai continues to lead the way in sustainable mobility with this event, integrating hydrogen technology and electrification to push for a future with zero emissions.
The INSTER Cross and INSTER
The INSTER is a daring small SUV that pushes Hyundai’s EV lineup into new heights thanks to its rapid charging, bi-directional charging, and segment-leading 370-kilometer range (WLTP). It blends cutting-edge technology with environmentally friendly materials for urban convenience.
INITIUM: Hyundai’s Vision for Hydrogen
The INITIUM concept, which takes center stage, exemplifies Hyundai’s commitment to hydrogen technology. INITIUM represents the next generation of hydrogen fuel cell cars (FCEVs) with its remarkable range of over 650 kilometers, 150 kW motor output, and brand-new “Art of Steel” design language. INITIUM, which is scheduled to go into production in early 2025, intends to transform the energy and mobility ecosystems.
Hyundai’s Approach to Hydrogen
Hyundai sees hydrogen as being essential to clean logistics and heavy-duty transportation in addition to passenger cars. Its HTWO brand seeks to combine energy solutions with mobility and lead the way in novel hydrogen generation. On European highways, Hyundai’s XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks already serve as excellent examples of this vision.
From January 10–19, 2025, the Brussels Motor Show will provide attendees a first peek at Hyundai’s newest technologies. Hyundai reinforces its leadership in sustainable mobility with its innovative vehicles.
