Prior to the Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai Motor Company debuted its all-electric IONIQ 9 SUV at the renowned Goldstein House in Beverly Hills, California. The location, which is known for its mid-century modern architecture, was picked to reflect Hyundai’s dedication to electrification leadership and the SUV’s roomy design.
More than 300 international media representatives, influencers, and business executives attended the event, which was set against the beautiful LA skyline. In his statement to kick off the premiere, José Muñoz, President and Global Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor Company, reaffirmed Hyundai’s dedication to electric vehicles.
“Several World Car of the Year awards have been given to the IONIQ 5 and 6. With the IONIQ 9, we step up our game today, demonstrating our leadership in electrification,” Muñoz said.
In addition to having a spacious third row and adjustable seating arrangements, the car also has Hyundai’s Universal Island 2.0 console for increased adaptability. These design features were emphasized with die-cast models during the ceremony, while display pieces, such a boat sculpture centerpiece, represented the vehicle’s artistic influence.
From the entertainment to the food, the premiere was heavily influenced by K-culture, which produced a lively and engrossing atmosphere. “The IONIQ 9 is the evolution of the IONIQ brand and its values of sustainability, innovation, and human-centric design,” stressed Sungwon Jee, Senior Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer.
Hyundai’s IONIQ 9 debut not only honors the company’s most recent invention but also demonstrates its steadfast commitment to advancing electrification in the future. Another significant step in Hyundai’s transition to an all-electric, sustainable lineup, the new SUV is certain to create headlines at the Los Angeles Auto Show and beyond.
