With the debut of the Hyundai Creta Electric, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has made a major advancement in its line of electric vehicles (EVs). In order to satisfy the changing tastes of Indian consumers, this new vehicle combines SUV performance, design, and sustainability.
Hyundai’s worldwide pixel design language served as inspiration for the Hyundai Creta Electric’s design components. Its exterior has LED tail lamps, pixelated graphic bumpers, and a front grille with a charging outlet integrated into it. In order to maximize airflow for cooling and aerodynamics, active air flaps (AAF) have been added. To increase range and aerodynamics, R17 Aero Alloy Wheels with low rolling resistance (LRR) tires are also used.
There are two battery alternatives available for the car. While the 42 kWh battery has a range of 390 km, the 51.4 kWh battery has a driving range of 473 km on a single charge. While the 11 kW wall box charger uses AC home charging to finish a full charge in around 4 hours, DC charging allows for rapid charging, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in 58 minutes.
There will be four different models of the Hyundai Creta Electric: Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. Eight monochromatic and two dual-tone color options, including three matte finishes, are available to customers. There will also be a new Ocean Blue Metallic with a black roof option.
