Gensol Engineering (GEL) has inked a MoU with the Gujarat government to spend Rs 2,000 crore in the establishment of an electric car manufacturing factory.
In the presence of Gujarati Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. It is anticipated that the new factory would create about 1,500 green employment in the area.

The proposed EV manufacturing plant is expected to roll out products in both commercial and personal vehicle space.
