EV startup, Fresh Bus has introduced its first fleet of electric buses on the Bengaluru to Tirupati route.
Fresh Bus, a new 12 m coach with more than 45 seats is now available.
Fresh Bus services can be found on the Bengaluru to Tirupati route for a special price of Rs 399 a seat. Later this month, the company will start services on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada routes.
Fresh Bus can travel 400 km with a top speed of 90 km/h after charging from 0-100% in 2 hours. Fresh Bus also offers a number of features to provide intercity bus passengers in India with an experience similar to flying. Smart buses are designed to improve the experience of traveling by bus.
They include features such as noise-free, fully air-conditioned interiors, friendly and uniformed crews, 45deg reclined seats, best-in-class seat pitches, IoT-enabled real-time temperature and air quality monitoring, amenity kit, personal charging stations, Wi-Fi and real-time tracking.
Fresh Bus is equipped with a variety of safety features, including regenerative brakes, temperature sensors built into batteries, CCTV surveillance and medical kits. It also has onboard fire extinguishers, as well as a pink-coloured seat for women.
The company claims that its drivers undergo a thorough process, including random drug tests, regular training and driving checks. Fresh Bus and the customer support centre provide real-time 24×7 assistance to travellers via the e-bus services.

It will also help to promote the ecosystem for Electric Vehicles and create jobs for young technologists in our country. This is a testimony to the fact we can achieve sustainable growth while promoting economic development.”
Founder of Fresh Bus, Sudhakar Reddy Chirra said that Fresh Bus would focus on customer service and premium quality to elevate the bus experience for everyone. We are initially launching 24 electric buses this month across Bengaluru-Tirupati and Hyderabad-Vijayawada.
We will launch services in the second phase on the top 100 routes in India, including routes to/from Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai, Ahmedabad as well as Goa, Pune, and others. By 2026, we plan to have 1000+ electric buses in India, 100+ charging stations, and to save 4000 hectares.
