During a recent meetup with Aishwarya, Vikrant K. Aggarwal, Co-founder and Director, EVI Technologies talked about the company’s wide portfolio and how their solutions are contributing in the fast adoption of the EV charging ecosystem in India.
Tell us about EVI Technologies key products and what separates them from its competitors?
The company is offering end to end E-mobility solutions focused on highest quality standards, sustainable reliability and sustained performance. They provide both EV AC (slow) and DC (fast)all types of EV chargers which work through the user authentication process via mobile app on the user/operator side and charging will start once the user is verified. This complete process includes the central server, mobile app and charger (hardware) at the site with standard charging protocols.
USP: Flexible design capability, still meeting global standards.
EVIT products are designed & developed integrating efficient and robust power technologies with advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (machine Learning) based algorithms, enabling a perfect product catered to the market. EV charging solutions are complete indigenous development of EVIT team with flexibility and compatibility as per market demand and complying to global standards. The connected EVIT charger network generates data and reports helping electricity distribution agencies to accurately predict and meet EV charging demand. The EV charger and server connection also enhances EV user experience with faster navigation to chargers, remote charging control and advance booking services.
Which EV segment is your product specifically catering to and your client base you are aiming to target?
Electric two & three wheelers along with the Electric Cars segment in public charging infrastructure development. Mainly fleet operators like Uber, Bluesmart etc. and Oil marketing companies (OMCs) like IOCL, HPCL, BPCL etc.

Our USP is in flexibility & customizable design in EV chargers and we also provide after sales services.

As the increase of electric vehicle market, it is required to provide services to clients who want to be the service provider and want to invest in the electric vehicle charging market and wants to provide the charging services, this application can handle all the use cases for the provider to successfully provision the charging station and manage them and also the consumer who will use the charging stations to charge their electric vehicles.
The user can use web or mobile interface to book the slot to the nearest station to charge the vehicle and avail the service without any hassle. This software is one in all solution based on SAAS (software as a service) model for all the needs required by provider and consumer of services and covering all the use cases for electric vehicles charging stations backed by a highly available and robust IT infrastructure.

The company planned to achieve 10,000 EV chargers by next 6 months in different cities of India. As of now around 4,000 EV chargers have been installed in 20 different states in India. The backbone of the system includes IT infrastructure on the server end, which will manage the complete transaction of charging.
