On October 9, Ferrari will make the official debut of its first electric car. While presenting Ferrari’s 2024 financial results, CEO Benedetto Vigna made the announcement. On October 9, during our Capital Markets Day, Ferrari will “unveil more of our future,” he remarked. Among the six new vehicles the business intends to launch this year is the electrified Ferrari.
To put it briefly, not much is known. Under complete camouflage, the all-electric Ferrari was spotted testing on Maranello’s streets. To make matters worse, the vehicle was also observed sporting a Maserati Levante SUV body shell and false exhausts. Ferrari appears to be skilled at concealing its prototypes.
Going further, Ferrari reports that the electric vehicle has been tested for thousands of miles. The automaker has also installed a new EV production line at its site that can also produce ICE and hybrid vehicles. Eventually, the line will begin producing electric motors, axles, and batteries.
The SF90 and Roma’s replacements are anticipated to be additional highlights this year. Additionally, the business will begin shipping the F80, LaFerrari’s replacement. Last year, the Portofino M, SF90 Stradale, 812 Superfast, and Roma were no longer produced by the business. The Ferrari 12Cilindri was also introduced by the automaker in India, with the coupe and spider models starting at Rs 8.5 crore and Rs 9.15 crore, respectively.
