Versinetic has enjoyed another year of robust growth with a host of new partnerships, innovative EV products, more employees, and international expansion into target territories including Australia and New Zealand.
Dunstan Power, Managing Director, Versinetic, said, “Growth has been thanks largely to global demand for our flexible charging solutions and Versinetic’s expertise in the EV charging sector. Our global reach now includes companies from the EMEA, North America and APAC.”
At the end of 2023, Versinetic added a trio of innovative products to its existing portfolio: Remora PLC Module to improve EV charging communication; BalanSea for charger-to-charger load management and its White Label Installer App, to simplify management of EV charge points for installers.
Following a successful recruitment drive, Versinetic has added both software and hardware team members including two software engineers and a technical sales engineer.
Versinetic offers a range of solutions from finished products (PCBs) with smart charger software, design services and software only to customers globally, adapting its solutions according to local charging regulations.
This has generated multiple business opportunities in the APAC region and comes at a time when Australia and New Zealand are embarking on EV adoption journeys and therefore facing unique challenges in terms of EV charging infrastructure rollout. Load balancing product, LinkRay, has gained the most momentum in those markets.
Over the past three years, growth has continued despite Covid, component shortages and supply chain disruptions. Dunstan Power, Managing Director, Versinetic concluded, “It’s been a challenging ride through the supply chain crisis and in a rapidly evolving market. Versinetic, whilst still young, has adapted its business model to market conditions by providing a flexible, modular and technologically advanced offer. We’ve also responded to the product price pressure in particular from Chinese manufacturers by ensuring that our solutions are competitively priced. Our products evolve as new needs emerge, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of EV charging technology.”
Versinetic is a member of the British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers Association (BEAMA), the UK trade association for manufacturers and providers of energy infrastructure technologies and systems, and the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) where it helps to shape future policies and standards on EV charging.
