Pune based electric vehicle start-up, EMotorad has officially rolled out a range of premium and economical electric bikes.
This includes Nighthawk, Desert Eagle, Xplorer+, and X-Factor line.
The XFactor range costs Rs 24,999 while the premium range costs Rs 4.75 lakh.
The Elite range of EMotorad electric bikes is the most costly and incorporates technology in a state-of-the-art frame.
Exact Actuation technology eliminates shifting variation and slop from electric bikes.
The Nighthawk has a sturdy aluminum frame, 150 mm fork travel, and 35 mm stanchions.
SRAM shifting with an X5 derailleur is available for precise shifting. Tektro 2-piston front brakes and rear brakes along with Maxxis Minion DHF Exo protection tubeless tyres are included.
The Desert Eagle comes with a 120mm travel fork. It also has a Proven Motion Control damper with low-speed compression adjustment and lockout with external rebound adjustment. App-controlled electric bikes can also be controlled by SRAM shifting.
The X-Factor range features steel frames, detachable batteries, LCDs, single-speed drivetrains with an option to add derailleurs, as well as mechanical disc brakes with automatic cut-off.
The X1 has one level of pedal assistance with 12 magnets, while the X2 and X3 have three levels.
EMotorad shared its plans to disrupt electric bikes market with its technology at the event. The event concluded with a tech launch that showcased the loT-enabled electric bikes. These bikes can be used to measure calories burned and set goals and targets according to the users’ requirements.
It allows users to monitor heart rate, calories, and distance traveled, and even connect with other riders and plan rides.
For safety and navigation, users can use GPS and geo-tracking functions.
E Motorad will soon have e-bikes available for purchase on its official website, online marketplaces, and offline dealers.
