The much awaited N7 electric car has been formally unveiled by Dongfeng Nissan at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou). The N7 is the first model built on Dongfeng Nissan’s new modular architecture and is only intended for electric vehicles. It is expected to debut in China in the first half of 2025.
The medium-large N7 sedan mixes Nissan’s recognizable V-Motion hallmark with futuristic styling, building on the design language of the Nissan Epoch Concept, which was initially displayed at the Beijing Motor Show. The N7 measures 4,930 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,487 mm in height, with a 2,915 mm wheelbase allowing considerable cabin space.
The N7 incorporates sophisticated autonomous driving capabilities designed for the urban setting and is outfitted with “Navigate on Autopilot,” a state-of-the-art driver-assist system created in collaboration with Momenta. This, along with intelligent car systems created using local knowledge, highlights Nissan’s commitment to satisfying the changing demands of Chinese customers.
Nissan’s longterm plan, The Arc, includes the N7’s debut. Its goal is to hasten the development and export of new energy vehicles (NEVs) from China. In the biggest automobile market in the world, the N7 is poised to revolutionize electric mobility by fusing local technology innovation with Nissan’s worldwide manufacturing standards.
The debut of the N7 demonstrates Dongfeng Nissan’s dedication to producing premium, environmentally friendly automobiles that suit contemporary urban lifestyles and advance China’s electrification.
