The Perfetto, the newest electric scooter from EV manufacturer BNC Motors, is priced at Rs 1.13 lakh ex-showroom in India. The scooter will be available by the end of this month, and the price is introductory. Musashi, a Japanese manufacturer, has partnered with BNC Motors to create the powertrain.
Like the Chetak, the Perfetto e-scooter is a candidate for city commutes, but it stands out due to its metal body. The scooter’s vintage design is underpinned by contemporary engineering. The scooter comes in four different colors: Veneto White, Tokyo Red, Nilgiris Green, and Pangong Blue.
The scooter has a single-sided shock absorber at the back, telescopic front forks, drum brakes on both ends with a combined braking system, and other characteristics. According to the firm, the Perfetto boasts the longest floorboard in the class, a seat that is 750 mm long, and a 25-liter storage space behind the seat.
The electric drivetrain was created by Musashi, a Japanese company that specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing products like Differential Assemblies, Transmission Gears and Assemblies, and Linkage and Suspension (L&S) products. The scooter’s battery pack is BNC’s exclusive Etrol 40 battery. Depending on the version, the business claims that it will have a range of up to 160 miles. According to the firm, it can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 70 kmph.
