In an effort to increase its market share in India’s developing electric vehicle sector, BAXY Mobility has unveiled a new line of electric three-wheelers. Both passenger and cargo electric three-wheelers with lead-acid and lithium-ion battery technologies are part of the new selection. The models accommodate a range of consumer needs in terms of price and functionality, from entry-level choices to higher-performance variations.
With a track record of producing three-wheelers with internal combustion engines (ICE) and electric propulsion, BAXY Mobility has been active in shared mobility and last-mile delivery. The launch of this line of electric three-wheelers is part of the company’s continuous endeavor to assist India in its shift to more environmentally friendly modes of transportation.
“This launch is an important step for us as we continue to work toward making sustainable mobility accessible to more people in India,” said Shiv Bakshi, Managing Director of BAXY Limited, in reference to the launch’s significance.
The CEO of BAXY Mobility, Kumar Ramamurthi, highlighted the company’s emphasis on providing solutions that are both economical and ecologically friendly. “This range offers dependable and effective options for urban and rural mobility, catering to our customers’ changing needs,” he said.
With an emphasis on affordability and environmental responsibility, the new electric three-wheelers are marketed as energy-efficient substitutes for conventional automobiles. At the “Charge karo, chal pado” introduction event, the new cars were displayed and their potential to satisfy the needs of both urban and rural transportation markets was highlighted.
