The India Skills 2024 competition is a prestigious national event that highlights and develops vocational automotive talent. The Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) has made a mark there. Hosted at Yashobhoomi, the event brings together a broad group of industry professionals, jury members, and ASDC representatives with the common goal of assisting and assessing candidates in the automotive industry.
There was a strong turnout on Day 1, with 92 contestants taking part in the event. The most exciting part of the day was the familiarisation session, during which panel members and industry professionals briefed candidates on the nuances of the competition. Participants were able to interact with industry professionals during this session, which gave them crucial insights into the competition structure and useful advice for the days ahead.
A wide range of disciplines, including Automotive Talent, Additive Manufacturing, Auto Body Repair, Automobile Technology, Car Painting, Industrial Control, Industry 4.0, Manufacturing Team Challenge, Robot System Integration, and Welding, will be showcased by participants in the automotive skills category. These exercises are intended to assess the applicants’ originality, accuracy, and pressure-tolerant performance in addition to their technical abilities.
