ARENQ has set up a new manufacturing unit in Khed City, Pune, Maharashtra. This development marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the energy storage industry.
The company earlier this year announced its expansion plan in India after which they have invested 28 crores in the Pune manufacturing plant. They proudly disclosed that Besten Engineers & Consultants India Pvt Ltd, a prestigious Chennai-based firm, has been entrusted with the consultancy contract for this ambitious project.
The new facility, a fully automated production unit, is set to span over an impressive 80,000 square feet. It will complement ARENQ’s existing manufacturing capabilities at its Nandurbar plant in Maharashtra. This facility will focus on producing batteries across all segments, further solidifying ARENQ’s role as a comprehensive solutions provider in the energy storage space.
With this expansion, ARENQ is set to elevate its total production capacity to an impressive 200MW. Their persistent efforts in innovation and quality manufacturing have always set it apart, and this new facility is a testament to that commitment.
G. Anil, CEO, ARENQ, said, “This new facility in Pune is a leap toward our vision of a sustainable energy future. We are not just expanding our manufacturing footprint; we are advancing our commitment to innovative and environmentally friendly energy solutions. A significant increase in production capacity is not just a leap forward for the company but also marks a substantial enhancement in the Indian and global energy storage markets.”
The partnership with Besten Engineers & Consultants India Pvt Ltd is poised to yield numerous benefits. Their renowned expertise and vast experience in industrial design and construction are key to ensuring the timely and successful completion of this state-of-the-art facility. This collaboration represents a fusion of excellence in manufacturing and construction prowess, promising a project that is as efficient as it is innovative.
