Atal Indore Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) has launched two additional solar-powered public EV charging stations.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Akash Vijayvargiya, and AICTSL CEO Manoj Pathak, with the stations located in front of Gokuldas Hospital and near Snehlataganj Bridge.
These charging stations cater to electric two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and EV auto-rickshaws, offering a full charge for electric two-wheelers in about three hours at a rate of Rs 15 per unit.
Each station can accommodate up to six vehicles for charging simultaneously, and users have the option of pre-booking and prepaid recharge services.
AICTSL plans to establish a total of 47 charging stations throughout the city to promote eco-friendly transportation, including 37 slow charging points and 10 fast charging points.
The state’s first public charging station in Indore was inaugurated on August 5.
