Tender #1 – Uttar Pradesh
Committed to addressing the widening gap of electric vehicle penetration in the state while adding its name to the active list of EV Tenders in India, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced its roadmap to establish EV charging stations across the state in a phase-wise manner.
Targeting the goals mentioned in EV Policy, the state’s Urban Planning department has already extended the sphere of the Comprehensive Electric Mobility Plan (CEMP) to 17 cities with municipal corporations that will start the process in the first phase.

Tender #2 – Delhi
Targeting to achieve new milestones in the development of EV infrastructure, the Delhi government has been working on setting up 18,000 public EV charging stations across the city by next year.
Currently, the charging infrastructure in Delhi’s 11 districts is now being looked at owing to the skewed distribution of charging stations as the southwest district has 890 charging stations, and the northeast and Shahdara have 30-odd charging stations each. Apart from them, other districts with a high number of public charging stations include the southeast with 334 stations, west with 317, northwest with 275, New Delhi with 248, and east with 246 stations, hence adding its name to Active EV Tenders in India.

Tender #3 – Maharashtra
Led by the electric two-wheeler market, Maharashtra has witnessed a steady rise of battery-operated vehicle shares growing from 13% from 4% in the last five fiscals. According to a report, the state has seen a 208% year-on-year growth in registrations of EVs in 2022-23 to 1.6 lakhs unit.
So far, Maharashtra has a total of 660 public charging stations as per the record. However, in Maharashtra and Karnataka, the proportion of electric three-wheelers is lesser, in comparison to electric cars. Maharashtra had around 17,216 and Karnataka had 10,249 electric cars. With the increase of EV Tenders in India, more induction of electric vehicles can be expected in the near future.

Tender #4 – Madhya Pradesh
According to the latest available data, Madhya Pradesh has 2130 two-wheelers, 2230 e-rickshaws, 220 four-wheelers and 201 goods carriers registered.
In total, the state has zero percent subsidy and 4% RTO fee for EVs and has 47,000 EVs registered with the RTO. The state government has, however, planned to integrate 2,200 electric buses in its transport soon as more EV Tenders in India get approvals.
